This is a fun place to be if you like good music, pool, blackjack, darts and hanging out with your friends. There's always a party crowd at Skillman Street Club.
They have a pretty good burgers/nachos menu and a well-stocked bar (although their dark beer selection is limited.) They're in the same strip as Zoli's, Mother Mesquite's and Sinbad's, so you can make an evening of it. The stage and dance floor are a little small, so the dancers spill out into the carpeted table area when DRYVER plays there.
This place is owned by the same people who bring you Salute! and Moose & Vinnie's. Kevin, the night manager, is a hard-working professional but he always has time for a good joke.
Skillman splits into separate north and south-bound lanes on the immediate north side of LBJ. Stay in the right hand lane as you go north on Skillman, and take a right into the parking lot when you see Mother Mesquite's. Or, you can look at a map to get there.
