The Mucky Duck is a traditional English pub tucked away in Prestonwood Mall. The entrance is just off the main mall doors northeast of Neiman Marcus. They have darts and a pool table, and a nice selection of beers to choose from. Their food is pretty tasty, too.
DRYVER has been playing at "The Duck" for about five years, ever since the stage was in the middle of the room. Now the band is up on risers in the corner. Less cozy, but more tables fit in that way.
The cover is usually pretty minimal, $3-$5. Bands start at 9:00pm and go until 1:30am on Fridays and Saturdays.
To get to the Mucky Duck, go east on Belt Line from the Tollway and turn north into Prestonwood mall at Montfort. Veer to the right of Neiman Marcus. Mucky Duck is across the parking lot from Don Pablo's.
